After ten years of studio dance training in ballet, jazz, and pointe at Regional School of Ballet in Corvallis, Oregon, Rebecca studied dance at Western Oregon University for four years, emphasizing in ballet, modern dance technique, and choreography. After graduation in 2009, Rebecca traveled, taught, performed, and directed in the Willamette Valley area in Oregon, in Portland, and in Madrid, Spain, focusing mostly in modern dance teaching and choreography. She acquired a Master's degree in Teaching from Western Oregon University in 2014.

She has debuted choreographic work at the Galileo Galilei Theater in Madrid, at the AGLOW National Women's Conference in Madrid, at the American College Dance Festival in Ogden, Utah, and locally at the Corvallis Majestic Theatre and Western Oregon University. She founded Freedom Dance Company in 2016, and now spends her time teaching, choreographing, rehearsing, and performing.
